ESCardio

The European Society of Cardiology (ESC) is a leading organization dedicated to the field of cardiology, established to improve and disseminate knowledge about cardiovascular diseases and their management. With its headquarters in Sophia Antipolis, France, and a regional office in Brussels, Belgium, the ESC plays a pivotal role in guiding clinical practices and promoting cardiovascular research across Europe and beyond. ESC organizes a variety of scientific and educational events annually, including the ESC Congress, the largest gathering of cardiovascular professionals globally. Through its various journals, comprehensive guidelines, and educational programs, the ESC aims to enhance patient care and outcomes in cardiovascular disease.
By advocating for policies that support cardiovascular health, the ESC also engages in public health promotion and disease prevention initiatives, highlighting its dedication to combating heart diseases on a global scale.

Objectives
Effective dissemination and communication to targeted audiences (incl. general public) and stakeholders. These activities are based on a comprehensive communication and dissemination plan; on the development of project branding and manage online presence; on the production of targeted communication material; and on the organization of events including meetings, workshops, webinars, and hackathons.
In particular, the communication and dissemination work will be based on key performance indicators, on a regularly updated dissemination and co-ordination (D&C) plan and its regular review.
The task focuses on a communication strategy and approach and on Dissemination activities, which include the preparation and monitoring of dissemination materials in line with the D&C; on the organisation and hosting of two educational webinars to share cardiovascular impacts and outputs; on the drafting of Scientific publication summarising project outcomes presented to key policymakers and stakeholders; on the organization of workshops to explore the societal impact of the clinical use cases; design and implement two showcases of project tools at the ESC Congresses (one general Congress, one subspeciality); the organization of a hackathon in cooperation to demonstrate the functionality of Pathfinder pilots.
